Guide Wires

TeleMed Systems guide wires are used to facilitate exchange of compatible wire guided accessories.  Each guide wire incorporates a full-length safety core providing added strength.  The flexible tip provides easier manipulation for precision placement.  Guide wire are supplied either low friction PTFE coated or uncoated, with a soft, flexible stainless steel coil spring tip.  Guide wires are supplied individually packaged and sterile.

Double Distal "J" Wire

This wire has a floppy tip at both the "J" end and the straight end.  Enables the physician to insert the guide wire with either end being the distal end.  The flexible tip dimensions are:

• Straight distal tip 7cm
• "J" distal tip 5cm

"J" Guide Wires

The wire has a floppy tip at the "J" end and reduces the potential trauma as the guide wire is advanced.

Straight Guide Wires

These guide wires are used to facilitate compatible wire guided accessories in the biliary and pancreatic ducts.
